The Federation is set to host a World Talent Federation Conference in the year 2025 to celebrate “Unique”, “Innate” and “Rare” people. This unique international event will bring together world leaders in the field of gifted and talented education to promote communication among one another and share best practices and experiences.
This World Talent Conference is a great opportunity for researchers, educators, psychologists, parents, and other stakeholders to gather from around the globe to discuss the vital matters, issues, and concerns that impact learning based on talent. It is at this conference that new technologies geared towards advancement of innate abilities (Talent) and related learning rubrics (Talent Based Learning) are unveiled.
Researchers will have the chance to showcase their thought-provoking or revolutionary designs, merchandises or systems that would help the Talent Assessments and related Talent Based Learning/ Education.
The World Conference will be hosted by the World Talent Federation Headquarters and will focus on Talent Based Learning in a Changing World. Accordingly, its Declared and Confirmed that The 2025 World Talent Federation Conference will take place on 25 th to 29 th August, 2025 and will be held in Kisumu City, Kenya, Africa, for the first time on African soil.
Dubbed The World Safari Conference, this historic conference is expected to attract a record number of World Talent Federation delegates, as it coincides with many international holidays coupled with the rich cultural and natural history of Africa, especially Kenya; notwithstanding the world breaking records of Kenyan Talented athletes.
This follows a bid by affiliate, Africa Talent Federation, and the subsequent unanimous Executive Committee vote (on 19 th January, 2024) that made this historic decision . Friday, 1 st March, 2024, marked the Official Unveiling and Declaration of Kisumu as the Host City for the World Talent Conference 2025. This historic event took place at Kisumu Governor’s Office and presided over by His Excellency Hon. Prof. Peter Anyang Nyongo , the Kisumu Governor alongside a host of his cabinet ministers.
In attendance were top World Talent Federation officials led by Dr. Peter Smith (Vice President), Mr. Dennis Chantler (Treasurer) and Dr. Victor Langenberg (International Liaison). Other Federation officials who attended were: Prof. Humphrey Oborah (Secretary General) and Prof. PLO Lumumba (Africa Talent Envoy).
